Samantha joined the Commercial Property team as a Solicitor in May 2025. Prior to joining Horsey Lightly, Samantha worked at a law firm in Hampshire where she was a Legal Assistant in the Commercial Property department, before going on to do her training contract and qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2024.
She graduated from the Open University in 2018 with a 2:1 degree in law, and then went on to do the Legal Practice Course with Masters at the University of Law (Reading), graduating in 2021 with a first class degree. Before working in the legal profession, Samantha enjoyed a successful career in corporate banking for 14 years.

• Acting for commercial landlords and tenants on new leases, lease renewals, assignments, and subletting
• Lease variations and surrenders
• Dealing with licences to assign, underlet and alter, and rent deposit deeds
• The sale and purchase of high value residential property
When not at work, she loves walking, cooking, watching sports, especially basketball, and catching up with friends and family. Most of her spare time is spent with her children, sharing in and supporting their many activities.
