Paola joined the Family team at Horsey Lightly in September 2021 following completion of her training contract at a firm in Oxfordshire. She is a member of Resolution and passionate about finding the most straightforward and least acrimonious way through what can be a very difficult process for her clients.
Paola deals with all aspects of private family law, including both financial and children’s proceedings as well as separation and high-conflict cases. Her approach to complex and often highly emotive matters has been noted as being calm, collaborative and empathetic, and she has a particular interest in the promotion and use of alternative methods of dispute resolution, such as mediation and collaborative law.
Being bilingual English-Italian, Paola has also previously worked with international clients, and is able to assist in the translation and explanation of English divorce proceedings.
Life beyond the office
Having come to the Law following a career in opera, Paola is still passionate about the arts and goes to the opera, the theatre or live music whenever she can. She also loves spending time with her family and friends, reading, and singing.
